QwertyTown is a web-based keyboarding app that teaches typing and online communication skills. QwertyTown is compatible with both Clever and Classlink single sign on platforms. Students are driven to succeed by QwertyTown’s games, rewards, social motivation, powerful teacher reports, and a deep understanding of how keyboarding skills improve their lives in and out of school.

QwertyTown was created by Second Nature Learning. Founded by award-winning educators, Second Nature Learning’s mission is simple: to help students achieve literacy in the modern, digital world.

Paul and Dave are honored to have spoken at the 2011 Global Education Conference. Our presentation lives on… you can watch the recording here, for free!

Our presentation is titled Redefining 21st Century Literacy: Is Digital Literacy Underrepresented In Curriculum Around The World? Our objective is threefold:

  1. Examine how Information and Communication Technologies are causing the evolution of literacy.
  2. To understand the full parameters of Digital Literacy and the role it plays in our students’ education in the 21st Century.
  3. Share resources for educators who value Digital Literacy.
